They stopped their unbeaten run. . . .The same Spain that outclassed Germany without their talisman(David Villa)!!! Which game did David Villa miss? |

Germany despite their youth showed what it means to be a TEAM Africa's hope rest on Ghana - that's a team with a solid tactician. I still beleive the Ivorian & the Cameroonian will falter against Western opposition as they 've always done. Sadly, the Nigerian team is both too "New" and too old to shock the world now. Germany 9 Ghana 6 Ghana knocks out England by a lone goal! wey o wey ---Oh Africa! Shame though that Tim Cahill (the Roo's best player) gets a dubious red card! |

dayokanu: Are you asking me? Did Villa participate in the sodomy of the Nazis in the last European Final? |

kenerep: Please try and be realistic. They scored 2 goals already in the first half and they were playing very very well before the australian player was sent off. The German team are good and better than Australian and Nigeria team RERIOD |

Gomez poor technique just messed up all of Germany's attacking plays when he came on. Germany could have copped another one or two. |

Germany is a team to watch this WC. They just messed about with the Aussies today. |

DK forever shifting goal posts - once Germany is dissed, he switches to dissing England. Nice performance from Germany. . . .although starting so well usually ends up with a q/final or semi final exit. |

Best game so far and the Australians did not do badly. Germany played football. The understanding between the players is wonderful. These guys can win the cup. |

Ibime: ha haaaa, Ol'boy, have mercy now, shee 4 goals no reach, the 4 to 0 is already ridiculous and a shame to the Aussies |

You lot have some cheek comparing England to Germany. . . . DK is right. . . . since when can England be compared to Germany on International level? |
Re: World Cup Group D; Germany Vs Australia [4 - 0] On Sunday 13th June 2010 by princekevo(m): 9:35pm On Jun 13, 2010 |
Please we need to ask the refree if Australian had jst denied him visa that made him hate them so much. He was drawing out the red cards as if he had problem with Australia before. |

DK forever shifting goal posts - once Germany is dissed, he switches to dissing England. For you to make an assertion it must be in comparison to something. If you support a woeful country like England then you shouldnt be commenting on a superior nation. Its like a trader at Computer village complaining that Bill Gates doesnt know how to do Business Nice performance from Germany. . . .although starting so well usually ends up with a q/final or semi final exit And staring poorly like England ends where? |

dayokanu: Direct that at Sharon - I don't support England.
Well, they won the WC when they started with a draw. . . it might still be their year. |

dayokanu: Argentina started with a loss in Italia 90 and reached the final. Italy started with a loss in USA 94 and reached the final. Bulgaria reached the semis in USA 94 after getting sodomised by Nigeria. . . .They still had guts to destroy Germany later in the competition. Since when have the results in the group stage meant squat in the grand scheme of things? |

Italy won the 2006 after winning the opening game 2-0 Brazil won the 2002 after winning their opening game 2-1 France won the world cup after winning their opening game 3-0 Brazil won the world cup in 1994 after winning their opening game Show me a world cup winner who didnt win their opening game in the last 24yrs |

dayokanu: Italy drew all their group games in Espana 82 and won the world cup(using the Germans as their sanitary pads in the Final). |
Re: World Cup Group D; Germany Vs Australia [4 - 0] On Sunday 13th June 2010 by dayokanu(m): 9:59pm On Jun 13, 2010 |
How old were you in when Italy won? 2010-1982 = 24yrs? |
Re: World Cup Group D; Germany Vs Australia [4 - 0] On Sunday 13th June 2010 by Sauron1: 10:02pm On Jun 13, 2010 |
dayokanu: Who cares whether it was 500 years ago. The fact that it has happened before suggests it can happen again. Beating Australia 4-0 does not mean you will win the world cup. . . . .U can as well go and hire Anini and Shina Rambo to go steal the cup and deliver it in Munich. |
Re: World Cup Group D; Germany Vs Australia [4 - 0] On Sunday 13th June 2010 by dayokanu(m): 10:03pm On Jun 13, 2010 |
Tell me since the world cup started how many winners didnt win their opening games One thing is sure Germany would always outperform England even if England uses 15 players per game |

Re: World Cup Group D; Germany Vs Australia [4 - 0] On Sunday 13th June 2010 by dayokanu(m): 10:11pm On Jun 13, 2010 |
Some teams are meant for meaningless friendlies and some are for tournaments Explains why one has 3 world cuos and 3 Euro cup while the other |
Re: World Cup Group D; Germany Vs Australia [4 - 0] On Sunday 13th June 2010 by Sauron1: 10:15pm On Jun 13, 2010 |
dayokanu: Obviously, you only support Germany on the armchair. . . .U know nada about the team's history. Until that autumn night in Berlin, England became the first team since Brazil in 1973 to beat the Germans in Berlin. It is a tradition they have kept so well until Michael Carrick decided enough was enough. This was what your clueless manager(Joachim Loew) said after the game. . . . . "England were better, period," admitted Loew. "We were caught on a bad day. We deserved to lose. "We had no organisation, we lost too many balls; our passing game was bad, we were not aggressive, we did not cover well. "They were always dangerous in dead-ball situations. Our USELESS players did not have the maturity to beat England today." |

Of what importance is that game? A meaningless friendly is what it is It has the same value as China 1 France 0 |
