@Toba,

You want Podolski back in Bayern.

I would gladly take Khedira, Ozil and Neuer

Are the germans that good or the Aussies are just extremely poor undecided

Surprisingly, it's both.  grin

blacksta:

Just wish Nigeria can play with urgency like the Germans - but our foundation is so faulty we like recycling in Nigeria same old tired legs  - l believe we have the youths like the Germans

Be fair, Naija's played exceptionally well. Besides, what works for the Germans may not work for another team.

See  build up before Khedira heads over.

Compare this young team without their Captain to the best English line up we saw yesterday

performance. quality over experience. anyday

The same Yankees that wiped the floor with Spain in a competitive match or the ones that brought sweats out of Brazil's arse?

Lemme educate you more.
There's what we call FIFA ranking. . . .

England 8th
USA 14th

Germany 6th
Australia 20th.

If you are not a slowpoke, you should know Germany/Australia is a MIS-MATCH.

dayokanu:

So you think this gutless German side will beat the Yanks?
Have you forgotten what the Yanks did to the German conquerors, Spain?

Cant find any goodlooking dude in either of the two teams

They have done so well in their football development.
Their fitness is second to none and they are capable of beating the likes of Spain, Brazil, Italy and Germany.

Bring USA or even England in the second round and see for yourself

Last world cup

England 2 Sweden 2

Germany 2 Sweden 0

England 1 Ecuador 0

Germany 3 Ecuador 0

England 0 Portugal 0(After 90 mins)

Germany 3 Portugal 1

No one needs to tell you that Germany and England are not mate, have never been mates and would never be mates in football

Yep. Footie is becoming increasingly popular in the states these days. they are believed to have more official supporters in SA than any other participating country

bar the host nation.

Australia is old and defunct. . . . Emerton is finished. Scott Chipperfield is a wastepipe at Basel. Lucas Neill has been released on free transfer by both West Ham and Everton in the last 12 months. Ricardo Garcia cant even start for Hull. Vince Grella is useless for Blackburn. Craig Moore was released by Rangers over 2 years ago.

I will judge Germany when they play Serbia or Ghana.

You make a great point. It's easy to call Germany great when they're playing against Australia; their skill can only truly be measured when they play a team of their caliber.
