Well, we are all used to this story of how Nigeria played a football match with India and the match ended 99:1 in favour of India. It was also said that India was banned from Soccer cos of the incident as they allegedly used juju (voodoo) which turned all their shots to a fiery lion thereby making the Nigerian keeper to run away. When this happened, whether it really happened and what really happened today remains uncertain. Great Nairalanders, can anyone here explain with evidence to prove or disprove this story which till date remains like rumours.
Please, we need to know the true story.

Its just a myth, the only time Indian was banned was when they wanted to play barefooted back in 1950, opkaraji wasn't even born then. Indian was in the same group with Iran, Oman and one other country like that in world Cup qualifier group. Iran came through and showed up in Russia 2018. If Indian had qualified in that group, you would have seen them in world Cup. Indian still plays football, but they always find it difficult to qualify for world Cup. Just check out their highlights so far, you Will feel sorry for them.
