Develop An Awareness Of Divine Timing - Psalm 110:3 by Nobody: 5:28am On Jul 20, 2018
As a leader, you must have a healthy respect for time. Any moment of time that you don’t attach a definite purpose to will be lost. Time is so mysterious that it slips out of the fingers of a lot of people. You must attach an assignment to every moment of your life, otherwise it is lost. In the book of Joshua 13:1, the Bible says, “Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.” This was a failure report sheet literally meaning:“Your time is up and you have not done your work.”

To avoid this kind of report at the end of your earthly sojourn, you must attach importance to every moment you spend on earth. There are some things that God has assigned for you to accomplish in the days of your youth. If you don’t accomplish them while you are young, by the time you are old you may have the mental information but you will not have the physical strength anymore.

There is a time in your life that God expects you to be trained, prepared, discipled and equipped for the highest places in life. Once you move from youth to early adulthood with a carryover of indiscipline and negative habits and you refuse to change, your adult years will be full of sorrow and regrets; but you can still correct yourself.

The Lord showed me that wisdom is comprised of eighty percent timing and twenty percent decision. If you make a right decision at the wrong time, you are not wise. Timing is so important that it determines success or failure in life.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for a heightened sensitivity and awareness of time in Jesus’ name. Amen!
