julen Lopetegui ended his first week in charge of Real Madrid by overseeing a training ground match, placing Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Vinicius on the same team.

Joining were Jesus Vallejo, Theo Hernandez, Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos against a workforce largely made up of academy players, as well as Raul de Tomas, Martin Odegaard and Borja Mayoral.

“Excellent work from the entire team this week,” Lopetegui wrote on Instagram after Saturday’s session.
