A Nigerian Twitter user who goes by the name Ajibola @madejibo on Twitter has accused the police and security officers at Novare Mall in Lekki, Lagos, of assaulting him because he recorded a Lebanese man assaulting a Nigerian in the mall.

According to Ajibola, he went to the mall to watch a movie when he saw a Lebanese man assulting a Nigerian man. He immediately began recording the incident and when the Lebanese notice he was being recorded, he ordered the security officers and police to deal with Ajibola for recording. According to him, the policeman gave him a slap and dragged him until he complied and deleted the video but he was able to recover one video which he has now shared online.
