A suspected kidnapper who was arrested during a kidnap attempt at a chemist in Owo, Ondo State, on August 5 2018 has died, nine days after.  He has been unconscious since his arrest.



The spokesperson for Ondo State Command, Femi Joseph, confirmed the news of his death on Tuesday in Akure. The suspect was said to have died yesterday at Owo General. Hospital, where medical personnel battled to revive him.

One locally made gun and 400mg of tramadol had been found on the deceased, sparking speculations that he might have overdosed on tramadol
