The only reason the Sony and Microsoft SDKs don't allow ALL eight cores to be used for gaming is because those are reserved for the OS and OS functions, including making features like 'Suspend/Resume' and fast switching possible.

Less time bragging about degrees and more time spent actually LEARNING about things would pay off much better.

You're digging deeper when you're in a hole. What's the sense in an Apples-to-oranges comparison? Why compare AMD and Intel chipsets with different IPCs, different features etc? What generation are you comparing against?

Try to stick to the topic instead of dissembling. a Quad core i7 is better than a dual core i5 for gaming, and the delta is even more prominent in games where the CPU is more likely to be the bottleneck than the GPU
