ur submission that there aren't enough security to go round isn't accurate. First of, section 14(2b) of d constitution says "d security & welfare of d people is d primary responsibility of govt". Buhari is d head of govt& this constitutional provision is not negotiable. Second, during d just concluded ekiti elections, 30,000 policemen apart from civil defence & d army were deployed to ekiti. Were did they come from? In management, resources are never adequate. Its all about what u give priority to. In this case, ekiti election was a priority not d security of Nigerian lives. Third, its all about leadership which d president has displayed time&time again that he lacks. Were there's leadership, u won't hear d president saying d security chiefs are " cracking their brains" when lives are being lost

The latest killings happened on Friday (yesterday) after armed bandits killed at least 42 people when they launched onslaught on 18 villages under Mashema, Kwashabawa and Birane districts of Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

It was gathered that many villages were razed down by the attackers.

A witness who survived the attack, Lawwali Mashema, said thousands of residents displaced by the attack have fled to Zurmi town, some 50 kilometers away from their communities.

He said many other survivors are seeking refuge in Katsina state, while others in Niger Republic.
