Osun HDP picks Olawale Adewumi as Deputy Governorship Candidate
The Hope Democratic Party (HDP) in Osun State has picked Mr. Olawale Adesoye Adewumi as its deputy governorship candidate.
This was made known in a statement issued by the state publicity secretary, Mr. Dada Olusegun in Osogbo on Saturday.
He said the decision was reached after wide consultations with stakeholders in the state. The elders’ caucus of the party, after serious meeting and deliberation finally agreed that Mr. Olawale Adesoye Adewumi should be the running mate of their party’s governorship candidate, Mr. Wole Adedoyin.
The party has absolute confidence and belief that the combination of the duo will win the September 22 governorship election, the statement said.
Mr. Dada Olusegun finally assured the public that the governorship campaign of HDP would soon be officially flagged off.
