Even the ones that have oil rigs are suffering from spillages and environmental issues, which Amina Mohammed used to steal our money under the guise of Ogoni clean up fraud.

One of the farmers, Tony Ekhigiator, said one of the major challenges facing oil palm farmers is finance because the farmers need fund to buy seedlings, control pest and maintained the farm for high yield.
He said the Federal Government can help oil palm farmers by giving them loans so that they can acquire land to expand their plantations

GOVERNMENT, should do something for these people NOW!
Ministry of Agriculture should do more than they are doing currently.
Agriculture is the future of the COUNTRY.
Let's invest in our farmers.
NOTE!
God bless Nigeria.

Government includes the lawmakers.
Have they approached their senators and representatives while mobilising farm workers, their families and other dependants to pressure them with their votes in mind?
How soon will we realise that the president alone is not equal to government

Exactly, they don't really care about other sectors, its only the booming oil sector, very soon it will disappoint them and they will have no other choice than to revive the dying agricultural sector.

the truth is that govt cant really help every farmer who need help but the main thing is if govt institutions that are saddled with responsibility of supporting farmers do their job many farmers will have improved seedling and then u have support from agric extension officers who guide your activities in the farm from there growth of the farmer starts.

look at BANK OF AGRIC which offers loan services to farmers since the last administration has not started giving out loans even when the current minister of agric has said that he has funded the bank , but in reality the bank says they have not been funded.

so if the agric institutions are working then the way forward is brighter

Well, we can attempt to solve the problem but then we can only do little without Government's support through loan facilities and subsidies.

I hope you know there are some projects which only the private sector or private individuals cannot finance due to large capital outlay, this is where the government comes in. You can't expect the private sector to give subsidies, loan facilities and provide social services. It is the work of the federal government.

How can you say banks should provide social services? that's a layman's way of thinking, if you are an economist or a financial analyst, you will know that banks cannot provide social services because they are a private sector and there are some projects which private sector alone cannot finance due to huge capital outlay.

No. Saying it cant be done without facts is the layman way.
Define social service
no such thing
its made up by lazy socialists
everythin has a price hence can be privatised.
Again I ask name a project t.at is beyond private sector. Better read more with google than facebook
