God Almighty is a provider, that is general knowledge, but if God wanted to do everything himself, he wouldn't have given man the wisdom to set up educational systems to provide knowledge. He wouldn't have allowed humans to have a government system.

It is a habit for Africans to keep asking God to take away their suffering, and to help them make their institutions stronger and more responsible. It is common to hear statements like God will help us or God will save us whenever a calamity arises.

This attitude has made Africans forget that they have a government and should hold their government responsible and accountable to their promises before they assumed office.

There are so many things that have gone wrong with Africa largely because her people would rather spend all their lives in churches and mosques praying for things to get better, while watching as their resources are wasted by wicked men and women in government and the future of their children yet unborn are placed at risk with shaky and corrupt institutions.

We need to just keep this God hypothesis aside and do what we need to do to help ourselves. No God has ever helped any society to develop. Everything that man needs to do must be done by man himself.

If u think people should stop asking God for help, kindly explain to me Gods function as God in human affairs.
What's his duty? Why do humans worship him? Why is it necessary to acknowledge him when we don't need him?

God rewards effort. Can you pray to pass exams without reading ? Or pray to have a child without sexual intercourse ?
