It is possible, there Community Development projects or CSR for the past five years can be amounting to if that.
They few upgrades you see in our high institutions are done by this IOCs, they donate most of the equipment and structures you see in our General and Teaching hospitals, including state owned hospitals.
The upgrade of most Secondary Schools are done by this IOCs.
Do you know they help in funding NDDC and IDP support projects.
Most of the projects state governors claim as been executed by them in the (oil producing states) are done by this IOCs if you doubt go and read the marble placards placed on the structures after commissioning or the project signpost when project is under construction.

That is the rig working on the egina project.

Egina project happens to be the biggest project in the oil industry so far. It has employed millions of man hours, with about 70% local content.

Companies like seadrill, FMC/TECNIPFMC,Halmilton, Schlumberger: Dowell, Coil tubing, etc, Halliburton, and countless indigenious companies all working on the project day and night.

If you care to know i know a team of numerous contract staff earning about 7m annually.
Others earning far above that, all working on the project and all Nigerians.

Seek knowledge and you will get it.

That amount quoted is even a modest figure. Considering the number of supply/cargo vessels working on the project. Supplying both materials and food/peovisions for the crew working on site, plus bulk products i.e drilling fluids used at the various wells.

The SNEPCO BONGA southwest /Aparo project which is believed to surpass in local content is still on delay mode despite the NEW DRILLING rig (ENSCO DS10) at BONGA now.
