DStv New Prices and DStv Subscription Packages 2018 – Leading Cable Television providers Multichoice have announced new Tariff for DSTV and GOTV from August 1, 2018.

The message which was sent to subscribers by the satellite outlet indicated that the tariff for its terrestrial platform, GOTV will be reduced while the tariff for its digital satellite platform, DSTV will increase.

According to the new plan, subscribers on GOTV Max package will now pay N3, 200 instead of the previous N3, 800, while GOTV Plus, GOTV Value, and GOTV Lite subscribers will pay the usual fixed amount of N1, 900, N1, 250 and N400, respectively.

However, the price for the DSTV Premium package has been increased from N14,700 to N15,800; Compact Plus from N9,900 to N10,650; Compact from N6,300 to N6,800; Family from N3,800 to N4,000, and Access from N1,900 to N2,000.

To purchase the DSTV decoder, you can choose between the DStv Explora and the DSTV HD Decoder. The Explorer decoder allows you to watch and record programmes up to 220 hours in HD. It also comes with internet access which allows you to stream live and download stuff on the internet. The Explorer is on sale from N35, 000.
