This is the Iju railway station, Agege, Lagos.

It is the terminating and originating terminal for commuters going to Agege, Agbado, Kajola, Papalanto, Yaba, Ikeja-Along, Ebute-Metta, etc.

The Iju train station building is an old structure built over 60 years ago during the British rule in Nigeria.

This train station is part of the network of railway lines in the ongoing project to connect the bustling coastal city of Lagos to Nigeria's third-largest city, Ibadan, in the second stage of the government's railway modernisation project.

The modernisation project under the supervision of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) will see to the construction of 144km (90 miles) of railway tracks.

Wow!!! Childhood memories....
Fred Williams primary school, in the same compound with Iju station primary school.
I use to walk on that rail on my way home (sometimes).
Behind that station is a video game center, where I do play Mario.

Excuse me with your puppet thinking, better late than never only when there's a visible plan of action being executed. Compare to ivory coast that uses rail system in the transportation of crude products like fuel and kero.
