The admission cut off for the 2010/2011 admission for the candidates of the Unified Tertiary Institutions Matriculation Examinations (UTME) is 200 as the University of Ilorin retains the usual cut-off mark adopted since years ago.

For candidates who want to study Medicine, the admission cut-off, as usual, is also 240 while the O’ level results to be presented must have been obtained at a single sitting. Some other courses also have their minimum cut-off points above 200. The University reached this decision at the end of the 210th Senate meeting last Friday.

The deadline for the online submission of candidates’ results to be used to process the admission was fixed at August 15, 2010 while all provisionally admitted students will be interviewed by their Departments.

As regards those who don't have up to 240 and want to study medicine, you can press your button for some other departments you may wish to get into. But also remember, some other departments will still declare their cut off which may be above 200 e.g. LAW

There's a rumour around that it's likely there may not be any post-utme exam this year. Let's all wait and see to know the school's direction as regards that in order to know what to do and how the admission will be processed, but it's likely to be departmental (which will be by merit), and some other supplementary list.

Ignore anybody asking you to give any money for admission processes.

But all the same, pray to God to grant you your heart desire and make sure you are smart during the exercise.
