Parents of the four-year-old Elo Ogidi leaped for joy after discovering their missing child. The four-year-old was found at God’s Own Orphanage located along Siluko Road in Bénin City.

Ogidi was reportedly stolen from the Christ Embassy church in Oregun, Lagos State on Sunday, July 8, 2018.Mrs. Kehinde Imariagbe, the proprietress of the orphanage home has been arrested by men of the Edo State Police Command.

There are have been tragic cases of missing child in schools, at homes, malls and other social places. But recently there have been reported cases of child being kidnapped in church, while some were later found some are yet to be found.

Hence, parents are becoming more worried about the safety of their children in the church, especially at children Sunday classes. Parents now want to attend churches where the safety of them and that of their children is guaranteed.

In other to tame this trend church administrations have been making efforts to improve the security system of their churches.
