We are looking to hire a talented and creative blogger to generate engaging articles for a online media publication


Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling, purposeful, relevant and interesting articles to promote engagement.

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.

• Creativity and adaptability.

• Ability to edit news articles sourced from other websites without plagiarizing is important.

• Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and SEO keywords.

• Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.

• Must be able to edit news post for repost.

• Must be able to write about 4 to 6 articles daily.

• Strict adherence to company policies and style.

• At least a year of full-time, professional writing experience in a news media outfit, or similar organization. Blogging experience a must

• Experience in developing sources and pitching story ideas.

• Well-developed strong writing, editing, and communications skills. Understanding of what makes a compelling story.

• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google docs.

• Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization and digital marketing concepts.

• Bachelor’s degree.
