A video footage is currently trending online showing three African men (one Nigerian, two Cameroonians) being held hostage after a business deal reportedly went wrong in Iraq.

In the video, one of the men can be heard telling his people to send money because they have been arrested. He said that they are making 'blood money' over there (dollars) and that the person who is holding them hostage says he will kill them if the money is not sent to him.

An Arab man who showed his face in the video, pounced the men in the stomach as he threatened to kill them if he doesn't receive his money.

Facebook user Tony Chiazor who posted the video online urged Nigerians to help locate business associates, friends and relatives that can identify and help them.

Nigerians have turned themselves to slaves abroad. All for money. Midle eastern men that dont even value negroes. They should deal with them if they are really scammers. No one should send money.

"Blood money" over there is the money one pays to the family of the person one killed. It is usually very extensive, usually equivalent to the price of 100 matured camels.

Dollars is an international currency. It is used everywhere in the world depending on the kind of business. Even in Nigeria, there are people who do business in dollars.

People do biz in Iraq. The problem is that they are typical naija I must hammer by crook mentality. They are scam artists and it is not proper to do scam anywhere. This is a disgrace to them and we need to leave them there to pay for their crimes. The game is sweet when you win but the price of losing should be left high.

Serves him right.

The man must be Igbo that's why i won't sympathize with him.

Most igbos insult and call Nigerians/ Nigeria all sort of names due to their baseless hatred that doesn't hold water, and now see how they are treated like piece of trash abroad.

And when things go sour for them they will start seeking help.

Useless set of people.
