The Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe, Bayelsa State is a new polytechnic established to specialize in oil and gas studies and related fields. To kick-start its activities, it placed an advert declaring vacancies for both academic and non-academic positions late in 2009. As a sequel to that, the institution is now calling on all qualified candidadtes that applied to come to the Polytechnic's Liaison Office in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State as from 5th of July, 2010 to check if they have been shortlisted for interview and on what date their own interview will take place. Qualified here means[/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#990000] 1. At least Second Class Lower in the fields advertised. 2. Not more than 35 years old for entry level positions. 3. Must have NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate. 4.
