It seems you do not know Nigerian politicians. This season is open season for pastors, alfas and babalawos. As elections is less than 6 months away, Nigerian politicians always seek spiritual help to get or retain power. These times, it is dangerous to enter bus anyhow.

This is obviously a ritual (or should I say fraud) gone wrong. if you read the actual linked report, you will discover that this is a case of fraud. The fraudsters probably videod the law maker taking a ritual bath to blackmail him from reporting to the police.
