TRAVELING IN NIGERIA BY ROAD

As road travel is common means of transportation especially for the youth and able bodied here are some tips for a safer trips

Sleep well enough the previous night.

sleep they say is the reset button of the body and is important to obey when our body gives us the signal. research has even shown it that most solution of a problem come from sleep. I for one can testify to that. there was a particular stage in a video game l couldn't just pass. what did I do? that night,in my sleep, l discovered possible ways to defeat the boss. when l woke up, it was like a miracle. so,sleep is important. before embarking on that long journey give your body enough sleep,if you don't,you might wake up weak, stiff muscled and unmotivated. it is good to wake up on a high note mentally and physically.

Trusted transport company

Nigeria right now is littered with diverse transport companies. some going extinct while many are undergoing Reformation because of the ever changing society and demands of people. make sure you trust the transport company you want to travel with. where there is no trust relationships frost. you might be asking how do I find transport company that is trustworthy? it is simple. check out their departure times. do they keep to time? are their services considerable? are you paying higher than what they can deliver?avoid transport companies dominated by agberos; where you do not know who or who that is actually running affairs. there are notable transport companies but I will not mention their names. why? they did not pay for advertisement.

COMFORT

Traveling by road in Nigeria can be pretty frustrating especially if the spot you are sitting is not comfortable at all. most people until now do know how to choose sitting positions in a bus(not big luxurious buses). well lucky you. this article is for you. normally the two front seats are more like luxurious spots for any traveller. apart from the fact that you will be away from other travellers, your comfort is assured 100% except maybe you and the driver are not in good terms. That one is entirely your own Problem. They are numbered 1and 2 in your ticket. No 2 sit close to the window so you have to be ready to wear seatbelt.
Now, Nigeria like carrying load,it is in our blood,in fact if there is no load they will postponed the journey, that is a enough reason you should board a bus with good policy.

Safeguard your belongings.

Nigerians love to show off,it is part of us, so always be observant and conscious of the various gadget you are carrying with you. People have lost valuables because of carelessness. Do not keep your phone on your laps for those of you that can sleep like dry wood will not know when it falls off and before you know a cracked screen or something else will happen treat your valuables with love.

Watch what you eat.

This one is one of the critical part on every journey on Nigerian road. Food is always number one and Nigerian can vouch for that. Some of us can eat. My God! When I say eat, I mean every senses of it. Some people the journey has not even started their mouth has started moving. Anything that pass they must buy well I do not blame those set of people because evidently the money is there. But control is essential. Most people do not know their body system, what to eat ,what not to eat, some eat chemical reaction calling it food and before you know the family product call running stomach will come knocking and cries of driver stop will began thereby.
