Today, was indeed a great day for all dog lovers/owners in Abuja. The Abuja Dog Walk was organised to promote the 2018 World Rabies Day Campaign. All Dog Lovers, Owners, Breeders, Vets, Trainers etc were invited to be part of this programme/walk.

This was to enable them show support in creating awareness on the importance of proper vaccination of dogs and a product launch of a vaccine called Primodog for the prevention & control of Parvo Viral Enteritis.

Theme of the walk: Share the message, Save a Life.

Date: Saturday, 29th September 2018

Time: 7am

Distance: 3km

Starting point: Riverplate Park Ahmadu Bello Way Wuse 2 Abuja.

Dress Code: Sport Wears

Items to come along with:

1. Dog Water Bottle/bowl
2. Dog poop plastic bag
3. Dog Treats
4. Proper leash/body harness & collar

The walk was handled by Chuns Kennels.

The DOGS look healthier than those parading them.
They look well FED than those catering for them.

Hope they don’t spend all their INCOMES on these dogs since such are still seen as BUSH-MEATS with emblems in Nigeria...??

Na story una dey find... This should be the least thing to worry about as Nigerians. We have elections, security, education and other factors to gather or call a meeting for. "Dog and save a life ke"? Anyway, in anything there must be something... It might be a way of familiarizing with one another, thereby bringing about unity, strong bond and better cooperation, the singles exchanging contacts with each other, then before we know it, wedding bells every where... What a nice move!
