It’s been several months now since Kelly Hansome began making headlines for his no-holds-barred musical assault on his colleagues in the industry. First it was a swing at Mo’ Hits frontrunners, Don Jazzy, D’banj and Wande Coal, and producer cum singer Terry G on ‘Igwe KomKom.’ He went on to reference Kenny Ogungbe, an executive of the record label that released his commercially acclaimed album, Maga don Pay, on the track ‘Catch Me if You Can.’ On the same track he called out rappers 2-Shotz and MTV Base Africa Music Award winner, MI. He further revealed his next album would be the beef themed, Names of Noise Makers. On July 6, Hansome released a diss track over a Rick Ross beat on the Internet music portal NotJustOk.com targeted at MI and his Chocolate City label mates.
