Nigeria my country
A land filled with milk and honey
A land with money
Where fertility reigns
Natural resources rains
But our leaders are corrupt
They are the ambassadors of poverty
Leaving the poor in poverty
The rich becomes richer
The poor remains poorer
We supply other countries with light
Yet we hardly have light
Our crude oil are been refined in their refineries
Why can't we have a refinery
Yet we pay extra cash for what is ours
Leaders keep leading
Forgetting we are the leaders of tomorrow
They keep offices for their children and grandchildren
They travel abroad
Leaving us to die in abode
Dear leaders
Nigeria is a sick country
She is in tears
The youths are in tears
Clean up our tears
We give birth but yet there are more death
Stop the killing and let's live as one Nigeria
Just like our national anthem
............ A dying wish for my country............
