Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD. (Psalm 27:14)

Waiting for God is not easy. Often it seems that he isn’t answering our prayers or doesn’t understand the urgency of our situation. That kind of thinking implies that God is not in control or is not fair. But God is worth waiting for.

God uses waiting to refresh, renew, and teach us. Make good use of your waiting times by discovering what God may be trying to teach you in them.

Jesus asks us to spend the time of waiting taking care of his people and doing his work here on earth, both within the church and outside it. This is the best way to wait, Also studying the word, meditating and being a doer of the word adding faith in all things are the best way to wait.

And while you are all waiting, what would you be doing with your time and life in the meantime? Counting sheep or flies? Get real. You have to make the first concrete and practical move before you can expect any assist from God.
