Npower, just like Market Moni is just a way this government has devised to pay peanuts to Nigerians, keep their dreams limited, and make them subservient.
The beneficiaries of the programs will tell you "Half a loaf is better than nothing". But come to think of it, what does the pay do for them? Nothing, but keeping them alive to hope for the next peanuts.

Looking at it critically, those that have been receiving Npower funds, how have their lives improved?
How many of those youths even participate in the community service that's attached to the program.

What if rather than give 1Million people 30K monthly, you set up 30 thousand entrepreneurs with 1million naira, for 12 sets.

Same money will be spent, but the impact will be more profound.

That's Peter Obi's position has always been spot on.

It only takes a smart government to decipher what will grow the economy. Sadly this administration is far from smart.

there is no government in the history of Nigeria that has a wide reach out on social investment programmes, Whoever sold the idea of Social Investment Programme to Buhari, Did a huge favor for the government as it is one of the bankable programmes of the FG.

The 2016 Npower candidates are having an end to their program this month end, about 200,000 of them who 've been clamoring for either an extension or an exit package.
They won't be given any extension nor package, but a promise like this will keep 200000 votes for APC, the new set of 300,000 Npower candidates will also be guaranteed. Do you know the 2017 set just assumed work August 2018? Less than 7 months to election? Well played!

But one thing I love about Npower is the recruitment process. Every candidate was selected without external interference. I wish real public jobs recruiting are done that way. You don't need to know somebody to get selected.

Nigeria will be greate since the voice of the people is now the voice of the government.....only in Nigeria we see everything political.
