A Malaysia-based Nigerian IK Joe took to Facebook on Monday to mourn a friend, who died in the country.

According to Joe, Immigration authorities had detained him when he visited the deceased identified simply as, Iyke Malay, at the hospital on October 19th.

"I visited you at the hospital on 19th of October and got detained by the immigration authorities at the hospital still yet you depart from this world,who am I going to quetstion God or you?

Nevertheless God knows the reason it allows many things to happen, you are a brother and friend , my last respect to you is Rest in Peace, Rest in peace iyke Malay ,rest in peace sharp, rest in peace brother.

Malaysian authorities aren't friendly with foreigners, especially if you don't have papers or those that do illicit business.

Ordinary Malaysia that we gave palm oil seeds and now, they are rich.


I blame all our leaders, mostly northerners and few Yorubas and one ogogoro Jonathan that RULED this country for bad leadership. 90% of the times, northerners ruled this country but their region and Nigeria is still poor, amidst natural resources she is blessed with (other than oil).


The youth should stand against divide and rule, lies, bribery and propaganda of the political elites and take back our country. Read up Asian Tigers (Taiwan etc), read about Rwanda, China, Ghana (two years before our independence), India (10yrs before our independence) and so and see that we have no excuse not to develop.

Buhari has failed already but will Atiku perform? Honestly I don't know but we need this country to move forward.
