Unemployment: what we must do, a collective approach. LETS GET THESE BOYS OF THE STREET.

Everyday a significant number of youth are plunged into hopelesness, depression, furstration and state of it is over due to unemployment/underemployment, this situation is getting out of hand as it is seems to have overwhelmed the system,

As an individual I feel we could change this narrative if organisations could make Internship, apprenticeship, volunteer programs easily accessible to the youth to help them gain industry experience to further direct and guide their thoughts towards been productive and also avail them with requisite experience needed in such industries.

As professionals: you could help change this narrative by becoming mentor and guide to this youth, this can be achieved by encouraging them to undergo certain courses, training to improve their employability chances.

As a successful person ( business or career) you also have a role to play.
For example: there are certain people with two, three or four cars parked in garage idling away, would it not be wise if you could give this cars to these unemployed graduate to use run Uber service for an agreed fee (weekly or monthly) ? By so doing you have helped stimulate the economy and provide someone with a means of livelihood.

There is a lot we can do as a people to help salvage this situation. Let's all do our little, let's get these boys off the street.
Be different, help build a nation.
