This is Oji River wonderful bridge. This bridge is just between the Oji River thermal station and the motor park.
There's no rails. I mean that the rails on the pedestrian pass are no more. Besides, a close look at this picture will show a big pothole before the bridge.

This is a death trap, coupled with the fact that the bridge is narrow, in a depressed place and also on a bend. These all made the position of the bridge accident prone.

Why is nobody saying anything about this? Don't we have a chairman or don't we have somebody that is representing us? If we have, haven't they ever seen this time bomb?
I'm sure there is no week that politicians that disturb our peace with their convoys and siren don't pass through that road and it has never occurred to any of them to give attention to it, instead they are interested only in the forth- coming election and placing of big and sometimes useless signboards.

If Enugu state is in the hands of God and Oji River is part of this, pls, let's not keep on waiting for the doomsday because if nothing is done now, one day it will happen and who knows who will be the victim.
