I'm not okay with that, but black Americans are sometimes. . . well usually degrading of themselves. I am Hispanic, but i have a lot of black friends that I grew up with and I don't like that term.

if you look and listen closely, you will see/hear that whites who think they are ghetto will call their black homies "nigga",  they would even call their WHITE homies "nigga". the word nigga has different meaning in these cases depending on how the word is placed in the conversation.


if the person is an acquaintance and asks you "whats up my nigga" then its not meant in an evil way BUT on the other hand, if you are chased by white hooded men shouting "catch that nigga", thats when you should worry and say its racist!
