shortgun: Darachi: The Title "Eze ndigbo" outside alaigbo(igboland) is very wrong. 1. It belittles the title. 2. It creates unnecessary clash between locals and Ndi Igbo. We do not have President of Americans in Nigeria, we have Ambassador for the Americans in Nigeria. People that want to be Igwe, Eze, etc should go back their villages and contest. Royalty cannot be implemented in diaspora. This is the biggest insult I have entertained as onye Igbo. Ngi Igbo nye nu onye unu resipekti! 2 Likes 1 Share |

dlaw70: @ bolded... your inferiority complex as it concerns the Igbo, is legendary. PS emir and sultan are not traditional titles but religious titles. I can as well equate the emir to a bishop, and the sultan to the cardinal, speaking from the Catholic point of view. Forget that these titles have had their powers and influence withered, they were once very politically powerful, even more than your silly emirs. 2 Likes |

Jax1: Imagine useful idiots calling themselve cross rivers traditional rulers... How on earth are they supposed to tell other people with a different language from theirs the name or language they should call their leaders? Must we answer slavish names just as they themselves have chosen to? I don't understand what the problem of some Nigerians... these are more reasons why one should not but support Biafra restoration and all these unprovoked insults on the Igbos will stop. 1 Like |
