Please am directing this question to anyone with actionable and believable intel in the house, i was supposed to serve with 2018 batch C stream 2 but was bogged down due to my job and some other factors, am earnestly praying and hoping there would be at least a batch in january 2019 despite the elections cos if i can remember though not sure a batch was deployed 2015 january.

So am asking is there any hope for deployment in january 2019 because waiting to june/july is heart breaking for me cos i dont have time on my side .

All those saying NYSC batch A camp is by june are realy funny,wetin concern NYSC with election,this is not the first time election is taking place in nigeria,in 2011,their Batch A went to camp in match before election in april,same thing happened in 2015 election,NYSC mobilized 2015 batch A before election,so why would 2019 be different?,pls all PCMs awaiting NYSC should start preparing,cos it is obvious NYSC will mobilize you guys to camp in january 2019,and before febuary 16th(election date),you guys will be out of camp,its better you start preparing,so that you wont be caught unawares.....But in all NYSC management gat the say!

U are right, cos a report I got from a reliable source says that there will be another batch by January, 2019.

Don't be too sure about camp opening come January or even February. Within July to November, camps open four times: 18B1/2 & 18C1/2. Each camping across d country cost govt billions of naira. Aside d financial aspect, the nysc officials need some rest from camp orientation stress too.

There shld be at least 3 months in between one batch to another. We shld remember DT d job specifications these nysc officials extend beyond in camp activities.
