I mean the English version and not the English translation, i.e. how would you couch these statements in correct English without introducing new terms for it to make sense while retaining its meaning.

Another use is “I can’t put the merriment which took place into words.”.

Every time I hear this it’s in a context of a competition.
It normally means “a stalemate is the likely result.”.
Literally it means “after all is said and done no winner and no loser will emerge.”.

There are many means to the same end.

Spot on!

Another angle I considered was me trying to construct these sentences in correct English. What I mean is, taking the words in its pidgin form and using these same words to construct same sentence in English possibly with the addition of little to no articles. The results sounded "weird".
