Lagos is surrounded by water, it is only sensible that water becomes the primary means of transportation. you don't need a university degree to figure that out. it's just the way African leaders carry out administration and leadership. they don't think of the simplest of solutions to complex problems. |

Kalashnikov102: the simple question u should ask yourself. Where was dubai in 1990? If such transformation can occur in less than 20yrs. Bro ask your governors and your GEJ what they truely did with your oil money and the 13% derivative + allocation. Lagos then and now don't compare.cuz alot has happened. 1. Eko atlantic city 2.lekki free trade zone 3.lagos blue rail line. 4.standard brt buses 5.New skycrappers are these f.g projects? 6.DANGOTE REFINERY.why dnt u ask yourself why dangote located the refinery in lekki. Guy u need to learn alot with your sisters born in the 60's or 70's |

lexy2014: No... hence why I used the words "warrant" (from a Nigerian judge, which should be quick to get since it's such a high-profile case), and "slight diplomatic pressure", suggesting that they will not just enter Nigeria anyhow. However, our police forces will really be a hindrance to their investigation efforts, let's be honest. There hasn't been a recent case of ambassadors kidnapped (the more publicized ones are the US Ambassador to Brazil in 1969, and the US Ambassador in Kabul, 1978), but you can bet that if one theirs (US, Ireland, UK, Israel, China) is taken on Nigerian soil, the repercussions will be swift. The ones we know were by powerful, well-connected rebel factions with a political agenda. Simple criminals will be wiped out, and our government will not shed one tear. Nigeria (and most of Africa) is really a puppet state, in spite of our gra-gra and claim to independence or sovereignty. Our security services, equipment, arms, are procured from other countries, who monitor all we plan to do, and with their embedded agents (mostly Nigerians of course) influence policy. Our leaders are beholden to them in one way or another, and cannot be said to "think freely". You think foreign governments haven't been covertly/clandestinely entering and departing our porous borders unannounced, neutralizing threats and situations, while, pressuring individuals and companies to provide information as needed? |

nextstep: According 2u, "they (Ireland) wont even need d help of Nigerian security/police". So how are they are going 2get a warrant? So they will land in a Nigerian airport, stroll into a court, get a warrant without d help of any Nigerian security agancy, right? Am sure d warrant will also cover "wiping out" d kidnappers, their generation & families? We are talking about Ireland & u are talking China, Israel, US& co. When did these countries u mentioned wipe out kidnappers, their families & their generation because their ambassadors were kidnapped? Let me repeat d question I asked earlier. where on d planet has Ireland wiped out kidnappers, their families& their generation cos their ambassador was kidnapped? Pls which weapons did Nigeria buy from Ireland and how does Ireland influence Nigeria's policy? Once again, u said this: "You think foreign governments haven't been covertly/clandestinely entering and departing our porous borders unannounced, neutralizing threats and situations, while, pressuring individuals and companies to provide information as needed?" Pls provide instances were &when this happened in Nigeria. Give instances of d "threats&situations" they have neutralized in Nigeria. Who are d individuals & companies they have pressurised into providing info& for what purpose? Pls provide specifics. |
