first of all. there is no such thing as a blackberry bold 3 officially. its called the bold 9650. its more like a bold 1.5. as its specifications is inbetween the bold 1(9000) and bold 2(9700). the bold 9650 is slightly smaller than the 9000 but bigger than the 9700. as far as battery life- the 9700 remains superior. The only other plus the 9650 has is an included 2gb memory card . so for the 9650, ur basically paying more for less. lol

You say why? As a Blackberry user, i think its not worth paying for BB Messaging. Because what a Blackberry can do, a Nokia, HTC, SMARTPHONE can do; even much better. Emailing, Facebook, IM( with loads of apps).

Note: am ditching my BB at the end of my present subscription.
