MissRaine69:Oh dear, it's been long since I've been on here to read your online talks. How have you been ? Well, regarding what Putin said concerning Africans... I think he is absolutely right. And personally, I think his statement alludes to Nigerians in particular given their self-aggrandizing polity and materialistic populace. His statement is very much validated by the indisputable way Africans has irredeemably and hopelessly attach their happiness, comfort, security, safety, protection to western world, so much worse is that, as their taste for all thing foreign and external insatiably grows so does their current worldview, name-bearing, ideology and well being are heavily influenced and continue to be shaped by Euro-Arab faiths! To further affirm this, let us widen our gaze upon those rural Africans whose original communal, conservative and sometimes traditional-like life styles is fast leaning towards that which is characteristic of city-like dwellers whose value system revolves round worldly possessions. It wouldn't have been such a bad thing if only African's craving to consume foreign merchandize as well as that misplaced sense of self worth gratified by that needless yearning to visit abroad for pilgrimage, expensive shopping, vacations, holidays and to seek investment opportunities (to plant our stolen wealth into), were partly, if not equally matched or balanced out with a high level of productive output, generative and manufacturing prowess in respect to industrialism and technological innovation, no one would have ever thought of throwing out such a snide of comparing Africa to a graveyard, which in all earnest, Africa truly is. |
