I Need Small Advice Guys... by nymphomaniac(m): 7:26pm On Nov 28, 2018
So I am tired of Lagos and it's crazy transportation cost. My colleague at work has an opel Corsa car which has been lying parked for a while in our compound. It was shipped as tokuno and he is willing to let it go at 200k. I get to fix some things in it though. A while back, the compound fence broke d front glass and d side glass after a heavy rain. D side mirrors need to be fixed and possibly a new battery and general servicing sha but since it was brought in as tokunbo people say it won't give me so much problems. Having said this let me ask the following:

Is it wise getting the car in its current state? Inside is clean but it's just been parked for about 3yrs. I was told that sha by other staff.

If I decide to get it, can just any mechanic check the car to know what else I need to fix or it must be a mechanic that knows Opel?

What will It cost to change the front glass, side glass and fix the side mirrors?

What do I need to budget for papers and plate number?

What do you think of d car generally? It's a manual drive 1998 opel Corsa I presume.

Thanks guys.

no put hand

1, car parked since 3yrs. There must be issues why it was parked

2. lagos is not good for manual cars

3, opel is not a good brand in terms of management

4, u will spend almost another 200k for every thing to get the car running

5, with 500k u can get a Nigerian use Toyota brand car.

but u can still take the risk if u look at the car wella as tokunbo it is

My advice, don't pay yet, get fuel, a battery a tech to look at the car and drive It too.
proper assessment then you can pay if passes.

lagos is not good for manual cars ..yet all the mass transit buses and danfo are manual

or lagos is only good for manual buses

i dont know whats wrong with opel car management o........but as the manager that u are,hw many opel cars have u managed that made u come to this conclusion?

spending 200k is nice if thats all that is needed

theres no assurance he wont spend same on the toyota u are rooting for

toyota koor undecided
