why do you think every girl out there is bothered about marriage. These type of girls don't care about marriage. They are doers, they want to live a life of impact. One can tell obviously from her posts. She isn't bragging about being thick. She is talking about what God has wrought from her mind and hands. pls think differently.

I wonder why she doesn’t see weight loss as a priority. She’s a mentally lazy being.
Re: Pretty lady highlights her achievements ahead of her 30th birthday. by Nobody: 3:35pm On Dec 02, 2018
Nice achievements. She really need some commendations. So the lady list her achievements, while some Nairaland resident bingos are busy saying she's not complete 'cause she needs a man. Fact is, no one needs anyone to be complete. Being whole is a function of your mind. Funny enough, seems it's some daft Nigerians who think every body must get married and place ladies in undue pressure 'cause their mentality is fùcked up. No wonder little girls are becoming desperate by th day and these same people telling ladies in their thirties to get married will be first to complain.

It's better to be happily single than to marry a useless Nigerian man.

I must admit, she has really done good for herself. You see Amaka may disappoint but not Temi. With Temi you're always assured .

I was nodding to your comment until I got to this part. I initially wanted to like the comment but I went back and withdrew my like. The bolded part makes it seem like there is a hidden frustration caused to you by Nigerian men.

Leave the society out of it. You are not happy because you are still not married. That's why you have to bring in marriage and kids instead of just celebrating your new age.

Unfortunately for you, I don't have a reason now as to why I want to get married. Whether the man is rich or poor; there's no reason whatsoever! And because there's none; I don't see myself getting married. You on the other hand, is looking for a woman who would manage his excesses. Broke, dejected, and maybe still under his parent's roof, and if not; scouting. Fix yourself! No one has badluck.

We all have it in bits.....

Amaka, mad, sleeps under the bridge but in her hands are twin handsome boys she gave birth to some weeks ago.

Chinwe, living in a posh house drives posh cars, went to the best hospital in town for ante natal care but see her crying for she has another still birth.

Ada, beautiful, good job, good house, good husband yet her pillow suffers every night with wetness of her tears, because she is yet to conceive.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Life, is deep, who can understand it.

Bayo lives with his parents, his father is a poor carpenter, he goes to school on foot every morning with empty stomach, yet he is exceptionally brilliant.

Tade, a son of a wealthy politician, goes to school, with escorts and assorted food and drinks yet he cannot assimilate what he is being taught

Gbenga, son of a medical doctor, crippled, he cannit help himself, his father cannot help him yet he treats others and they get healed.

What is in this life sef?

we all have it in bits, that is the irony of life. So why the bitterness, the envy, the anger, let's learn to manage our bits and see how we can make it better.

Halimatu, virgin, focused, intelligent raped on her way to school, she became pregnant, and life was on hold for a moment, Life! Life!!! Life!!!

Hauwa, prostitute, nothing to write home about, married to a good man, have four lovely kids and doing great.

Aisha, rich family, beautiful, good job, humble, but yet to have a man to call her own.

No one should think he is better than the next person because we have it in bits, as we try to manage our bits, let us also try to be a support system.

No one is more, no one is less, we are all unique in our own bits.

It is well with you.

Wishing you a blissful Sunday.
one can have it all

Perhaps your understanding of grammar is poor. I said in quote that "It's better to be single than to marry a useless Nigerian man". Did you see man or men?

lol @30 you are not married, these are not achievements

it only proves why women cannot have it all

you gain one you lack one

imagine being married and achieving this, your children will look up to you

now she'd need to date for 3 years before she gets married, and of course suffer heart break first, so we looking at 8 years

like you could actually sit to type this??
I'm a guy but i hate it when people mention marriage as an achievement there's so much more to a woman than being a wife, the world has changed and if you dont change with it i feel pity for u. women have a lot more to give than marriage. this is 21st century not 17

That is why we r not moving forward in this country. So many sit-at-home-look-after-pikin women evrywhere. I luv industrious/independent women.

Even the bible says marriage isnt for everybody.
