We do hereby bring to the notice of the general public that the authorities of the Kwara State College of Education have commenced the sale of admission forms for the Professional Diploma in Education programme of the school in partenrship with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria for the 2018/2019 session.

In this regard, all members of the public who wish to enroll for the Professional Diploma in Education programme are duly notified of the opportunity offered by the Kwara State College of Education and can now do so by using the guide in this post.

The one year programme consisting of two semesters was introduced by the Federal government to tackle the menace of unqualified teachers who lack basic training having a place in teaching both in private and public educational institutions.

Suffice this to mean that the Professional Diploma in Education is a programme designed by the Federal Ministry of Education to ensure that all teachers are exposed to the nitty-gritties and core rudiments of the teaching profession while shunning mediocrity.

Without mincing, the focus of the programme is to end the era of teachers who have no basic teaching qualifications or professional training of any kind whatsoever.

Against this backdrop, the Kwara State College of Education wishes to produce graduates who would be versed in the teaching profession.
