Nine suspected yahoo boys have been arrested by the EFCC in Abuja.

They are: Edwin Ogbomwan, Okouromi Franklin, Oseji Collins, Collins Onyekwuluje, Anyanechi Ekene, Tony Oviasuyi, Chidi Emeshili, Osaigbovo Aiseos and Osaigbovo Ikponmnosa. .

The were arrested on November 30, 2018, through an intelligence report received on the fraudulent activities of the suspects residing along Airport Road, as they were obviously living above their means.

Operatives of the EFCC had carried out surveillance for days on their activities before swooping in on them.

Whay do we Nigerian so envy of our youth, that you didn't own a car and house when you were 25 means that others will not own when they turn 20. When in spite of the terrible state of the economy some young people are still doing legitimate business, this one's decides to be feeding off people's sweat through craft and deception, and whenever it is taking too long to come they resort to slitting innocent people's throat for pieces of paper. Yahoo Boys are heartless, they actually don't deserve to be pitied as their judgement should be categorize with those of ritualism and murder. If the bad state of the economy is solely responsible for this madness then all of us should be into one form of vices or the other, the bottom line is that greed, covetousness, lack of contentment, inordinate ambition, laziness and peer pressure is the driving force behind this actions. Sometimes when I see some of them with this long artificial crazy hairstyle and annoying tattoo marks all over them you cannot but shake your head in pity, some are even so dirty you'll wonder if there is something wrong with them all together, as their appearance negate those of individuals with access to a means of livelihood! Even few among them who presume to have hit the mark are so recklessly uncoordinated in every sense of the word. The Govt should in all honesty do all within its power to re-orientate this seeming hopeless young people on the need to keep hope alive while admonishing them to be cautious in their pursuit of riches as there are many legitimate ways through which they can attain success in life without jeopardizing or mortgaging their life, future and unborn generations for pecuniary gain.
