5. Miguel and Nazanin Mandi

After an unusual 13 years of courtship, American singer/songwriter Miguel officially tied the knot with his heartthrob Nazanin Mandi at Hummingbird Nest Ranch, an oasis in southern California.

The wedding ceremony was kept away from the public for 48 hours after it had taken place. The media was only alerted on the 26th of November by Karen civil who wished the newly weds via twitter.

With the ceremony clearly kept away from the public, the reception was attended by very very important guests! (VVIG) treated to assorted delicacies by the Mexican chef Eduardo Ruiz.

4. John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh
After their reported engagement at Disneyland in October 2017, John Stamos and the pregnant Caitlin McHugh went to the alter in February 2018 to say the words “i do”.

The bride and groom left the wedding ceremony (which barely lasted an hour) in a white Rolls Royce.
The wedding reception was held at Beverly hills. It was all class and glam with the hollywood movie star wearing a diamond hair clip and diamond earrings while the middle aged actor went for an expensive tuxedo.

John Stamos is 54, while Caitlin McHugh is 31

3. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra

Contrary to popular rumors that the duo first met at the 2017 MET gala, Nick Jonas few days ago revealed via an interview with vogue that his romance with the movie start started in September 2016 with series of twitter DMs.

However, the American singer/actor first met the Ex beauty queen and Quantico star face to face at the vanity fair oscars after party earlier in 2017 (before the Met gala).

The two celebrities tied the knot at the Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace in hindu trandition as well as in a Christian ceremony officiated by the groom’s father Paul Jonas.
This was followed by a lavish reception in Delhi which had the prime minister of India Narendra Modi in attendance.
ChanelLuxe confirmed the movie star adopted her husband’s surname few hours ago, adding “Jonas” to her Instagram username.

The couple plans a second wedding reception on the 20th of December in Mumbai to host industry personalities.
(Jonas is 26 while Chopra is 36)

2. Jamil Abubakar and Fatima Dangote
For Nigerians, Jamil Abubakar and Fatima Dangote’s nuptials was the wedding of the year. The glamorous event which witnessed the attendance of Nigeria’s cream dè la cream also had the world’s richest man “Bill Gates” in attendance.
The wedding reception which took place at the Eko Hotel in Lagos also hosted the nation’s vice president “Yemi Osinbajo”, state Governors, billionaires and A list entertainers.

The traditional Islamic ceremony had taken place earlier at the palace of the emir of Kano with Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari and another ex head of state in attendance.

The world’s richest black billionaire was rumored to have personally shopped for his daughters’ wedding jewels, buying her a gold and diamond Harry Winston wrist watch, earrings and a necklace.
Rumours of the Nigerian wedding of the year had been circulating since January 2018.
Luxury suitcases were reportedly distributed as souvenirs.

Jamil is the son of a former police chief, while Fatima is the daughter of Africa’s richest man.
