When you confess His LORDSHIP over you life, something happens. You receive eternal life, the life of God into your spirit and you are born again.

Belonging to a church will come naturally, because it's your new family.

Cornelius' salvation wasn't without faith in Jesus Christ.

He had to be instructed to send for Peter. And Peter preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to Cornelius.

Don't forget, God looks at the heart. So He saw that this man earnestly saught after Him (His prayers and alms were accepted but he wasn't saved); so in answering, the Lord refers him to Peter who will lead him in the way of salvation.

If after he heard the message of Peter, he chose not to believe, then he will be condemned.
