Dreams have often served as avenue where people see revelations, some peoples dreams are so powerful that, whatever they dream comes to pass. others just dream dreams that result from their immediate activities or environment. some people are natural dreamers and can't pass a night without dreaming one or two dreams. And there are some like me who rarely or never dreams or possibly they dream but they don't remember their dreams. What could be the cause of that? Does it have any spiritual, physical or psychological implications? Is remembering your dreams that important. These questions have been a burden to me. Your opinions are welcomed. Thanks 3 Likes

No implication but it is not good. Dreams are like the information we gathered while being conscious but processed (sorted) by our subconscious mind while sleeping. Reason why songs remind us of people/events? The information had been sorted by your subconscious mind, seconds after hearing the song, you get information about people / events that relate to the song. Why it is not good? A peaceful mind means at least you have taken care of some important tasks for you, the remaining, even if you do not have the solution to them, if you allow your subconscious mind( dreaming) to take control, by next morning, you should have possible solutions. Dreams are always coded. But when a mind is not at peace, you have lot of mixed up dreams so to remember them might be hard. Peaceful mind, Peaceful life! 7 Likes |

I can only speak for myself. I'm an advocate of realism. I don't believe in the extraordinary or spiritual or supernatural or a god, neither do I pray. I'm a freethinker. But I dream, my dream comes to pass, mainly seeing myself in someplace or some circumstances; I most often find myself in it in reality. Since childhood; every stage of my life always displays itself to me in the dream before I find myself in it. Eg, all the schools I attended, from primary to through the university, I already saw myself in the school's uniform or somewhere related. Even when I haven't seen or heard of the schools. Reason I'm never worried about situations because where I'll be in the next 1-2 years, will be displayed to me in my dream and nothing can change it, no matter what I do or the route I take in life. I have come to accept it that way. This experience propels me to debunk the mentation that dreams are just psychological phases, illusions, fantasies, etc. Even the field of psychology has it that dream is a phenomenon in which any attempt to describe it as being a mere and normal occurence without lending credence to its abstracts, is absurd... although it occurs in the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) phase of sleep. May I also point out that everybody dreams, even animals have some psychological events happening while they sleep. Only those who don't remember their dreams think they don't dream. 15 Likes |

To me not dreaming is not bad. But me whenever i dream it has some connection to the future either the dream goes opposite to the reality or it goes series with the future reality i just dreamt about. I believe everyone dreams have a role in their present. 1 Like |

I was also experiencing same thing some time ago,after complaining to my spiritual father,he told me spiritual man is far away from me,that anything strong thing that happen to me will lead to death. I think I am like you. I tell people I don’t dream and that’s true. But you know what? I am very happy the way I am. My experience with most of the frequent dreamers is that dream seems to be a source of worry for many. So for me I feel so free to be able to sleep like a baby at night. Don’t need anything that will shorten my nights that are already shortened by Lagos traffics. 1 Like |
