Your car is a precious property and money spent on maintaining your car is worth thinking due to the fact that not only it gives you more comfort and less worry on the roads but also it may cost you a fortune if not receive proper maintenance.

1. Not checking the tires regularly
Checking tire pressure doesn’t simply mean to check if there’s any flat tire but it’s also to optimize the fuel economy for your car (If your tires are not in sufficient air supply, the engine has to consume more gas to power the car. Also, make sure to do tire rotation when needed. All are in the manual, you should check the booklet for advice from the car maker.

2. Not changing engine oil regularly
Bad oil resulting from being in long use can damage your car’s engine. Don’t ever skip your oil change longer than 10,000 miles. Let’s have a good habit of changing oil engine regularly.

3. Neglecting the brake
Changing the brake pads may sound expensive but it is even more expensive when the brake has completely worn out. When there comes the squeaking noise, you should check your brake as soon as possible.

4. Not spending time on easy things you can learn
Sometimes we are too lazy to learn something easy. Many car owners often depend too much on mechanics thinking they don’t have to learn anything because the mechanics are available to fix every problem. However, there are lots of things motorists can fix themselves without calling for the help of others. 7. Ignoring fluid checking
Fluid change is just as important as oil change to ensure your car’s engine works well. Don’t ignore fluid change, including transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant and all the other fluids or it will cost you a bunch.
