A good number of Arsenal fans are calling on Premier League FA for retrospective action to be taken after Sadio Mane appeared to ‘strangle’ Stephan Lichtsteiner during Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Liverpool yesterday on home soil, gave Arsenal a beating of their lives to climb to the top of the Premier League table during the festive period. With Roberto Firmino scoring a hat-trick to give Jurgen Klopp's side a well deserved end-of-the-year 5-1 victory against their rival.

Sadio Mane scored the third goal for the home side before Mohamed Salah converted a penalty on the stroke of half-time.

However, the bizzare moment can just eight minutes of the fixture, Mane clashed with Arsenal summer signing Stephan Lichtsteiner and put his hands around the defender’s neck.
