We are own problem. People are obviously on strike and you can say no one is owed? So they just decided to leave the comfort of their homes to hold placards under he sun.

post=74349050:
The yellow bus drivers increased fares by between 50 and 70 per cent. Ikorodu to Oshodi, which used to cost N200, shot up to N300. Fare for Ikorodu to CMS went up from N300 to N500.

We are the enemies of our selves in this country.

Have you stopped and ask yourself how much these drivers pay as levies to nurtw union daily, the roads are getting bad the traffic are maddening they spend longer hours more in traffic these days and you expect them to still collect the same price.
They pay all sorts of levies from park fee, chairman fee nurtw, police, lastma,
These guys are not bus owners they are simply drivers and they must deliver a specific amount to the owners of these bus whether there is traffic or no traffic. Whether the roads are getting bad they must still deliver certain specific amount to the owners of these buses or else their means of livelihood will be taking from them so don't blame them. Blame the government who makes the working environment more difficult for them by allowing them pay all sorts of useless levies.
Driving those buses(Iron Scraps ) in Lagos for hours is hell.

Lalasticlala, mynd44

And the hoarding of funds for campaigns has kick started.

They are using their salary to fund tinubus stooges in strategic while Tinubu waits for the Oyetola who in turn is waiting for approval of 152billion from assembly to mitigate the funding gap. If you know, you know.

If you know how much is already spent on Sanwo's election, you would wander how a government cannot afford to pay this people salary. Its pathetic but they will only spend by by Gods grace, they wont get there.

Have you ever driven behind or beside a red BRT? Oh, you only have the perspective of a passenger, of course.

What a country we live in the dehumanization of Nigerians in terms of labour laws need to addressed, but unfortunately our so called pot-bellies money bags senators will not discuss issues that will affect the average lives of ordinary Nigerians, our government cant afford to pay minimum wage of 30K per month our labour charges per hour or monthly is the worst in the world, aside all this no proper health insurance, pension, gratuity i once had the opportunity of discussing with one of the drivers who happens to be a neighbor of mine in Ikorodu and he made understand the PRIMERO made atleast N50,000000,00 naira every month from all the trips from their BRT Buses, problem started when the drivers of the BRT buses remuneration and welfare packages was contracted out to private service company to pay salaries of their drivers, their salary was slashed, there were deprived of health care HMO, they were was also denied bonuses and overtime, allowances it was pathetic that every month most of the drivers have to borrow money month in month out, if i had to really hold on to all this factors i would suggest that Lagos State government should take away the monopoly rights of efficient transport system from PRIMERO and allowed other serious minded operators to come into BRT transport business this would in turn create employment and health competition for all operators.

Nigeria Labour law should be reviewed with immediate effect there's so much injustice in our labour laws our labour law is one of the worst labour laws in the world, the system is only favorable to those that can afford to fight, negotiate and decide what they want from their earn from their employers based on their qualification the worst are the so called foreigners, indians and chinese that understands that we dont and effective and efficient labour laws and therefore take advantage of ordinary Nigerians by bribing our labour unions once they realise they are picketed upon paying peanuts to some of their workers without any benefit, our labour leaders nko!!! they make situations worst by dilly dally with the future of Nigerians about fighting the government in negotiations to labour wages if i had to come back to this world again i would avoid a country called Nigeria with a plague!!!
