Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey (DJ), Seun Omogaji known as DJ Xgee reportedly committed suicide in the new year, on 2nd of January 2019.

There are reports that the Lagos-based DJ took sniper insecticide in the early hours of the morning due to some marital problems he has been having lately.

His Wife allegedly packed out of their matrimonial home with her 2 kids.

DJ Xgee committed suicide after his wife, Omobolanle reportedly moved out of her matrimonial home for the second time in 6 months.


DJ Xgee who has been doing everything possible to keep his home together since August 2018 when they marked 5th wedding anniversary, finally gave up on life last night shortly after he left a suicide note calling his friends and family members to wear White to his burial.

This is coming after DJ Xgee and wife Bolanle celebrated 8th years of friendship and 5th wedding anniversary.



Seun Omogaji DJ Xgee while celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary in August 25th 2018 wrote:


"8years of Friendship, � 5years of marriage to my Sweetpea @msballerhair � ,

Being married is like swimming in a freezing lake. If you are used to it, it’s not that bad anymore. In this sense, Thank you for always indulging me of all my Excesses The life you gave me is a gift from you, the life before you was of no importance and distracted and your arrival in my life made me realize how lucky I am.It makes me more expensive when you are with me. Your love is peace for my soul and your memories are the purpose of my life. Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary #WeddingAnniversary #HappyPoeple #5thWeddingAnniversary .���"

In October 1st, DJ Xgee celebrated his wife's birthday. He wrote:

" Wow!!! My Sweetpea is Growing in my Hands Oluwaseun ���@msballerhair You know Daddy loves you �..... Happy Birthday Smiles"

At the moment, his wife's Instagram account is unavailable.

He had low self esteem.

Diplomatically speaking, he had better looks than his partner but she probably screwed him psychologically to feel "inferior" or unworthy of her.

From the little I have read, he loved her MORE. A terrible mistake (LOL, both sexes aim to have this)

He commited suicide because he was depressed.


he did not do that because of anybody.


The lesson you all should learn is to stop thinking and thinking and thinking until u cross to that depression stage.

Once you cross that stage, suicide thoughts are natural and there will always be a reason to end it.

Any stupid thing can trigger it.

If u think he killed himself because of this woman then u need to have a rethink.

He is a DJ, girl’s rush them, they dnt rush girls.


Depression is real. Help yourself so u dnt get into it.

No matter what you are going through today , there is plenty hope tommorow.
