It is about a charity competition, the charity competition is an initiative to alleviate atleast two Charity organisations by the key players of the Night Life Industry through this social engagements.

Basically it is a 5-Aside football competition for the Top Top Clubs/Lounges/Bars in Lagos where part of the proceeds will be used for the charity course all of which will be in the names of the Participants and supporters of the project.

If you know any clubs/Lounges/bar that will like to participate, kindly hit us up.

So far we have Quilox, Club Rumours to have confirmed their participation while we hope to confirm other participants latest Saturday 12th January, 2019 as we have billed the competition for Wednesday 6th February, 2019 at Lekki Phase One, Lagos.

It surely promises to be fun for all the key players and also great social and media engagements for the participants/supporters.

We will also have novelty match for all media partners on the days as this will help drive it to the public more than usual.

Lagos Inter Club Competition: Quilox pips Didoz to win inaugural urban club competition.

The City of Lagos was thrilled by some beautiful display of football as various Lounges, Bars and Night Clubs in Lagos engage themselves in a competitive yet charity football games at Lekki Phase One, Lagos in an event code name Urban Clubs Charity CUP (U3C)



After over two months of intense preparation by the organizers and the participating teams, street football via 5-A-side was served to the fans of the various outfits just as the fans were entertained at Funturf, Lekki.



Wednesday 6th February, 2019 will be a date to be remembered for a long time as it gave birth to a competition that will engage our youths positively for years ahead using street football while playing in the names of reputable Clubs, Lounges and Bars as they promotes the youths in their location of operation.



According to the CEO of Uptrend Sports the unique event organiser, Suara Abass, this competition is meant to give plenty of distinguished elements, reputation and recognition to street football in Lagos as there are a lot of competitions here and there but constantly get marred by various issues and vices due to it disorganized planning hence defeating it purpose.



"When you have ballers play in the name of credible organizations with great reputation to protect you will expect them to be at their best manners and coordination which will help instill discipline in them, one thing that can help them have a prolonged career in the in the game and become good ambassador to the younger once", Suara Abass stated.



He continued saying "while it is an industry meets for the nightlife runners, it also serve as a means for them to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities and give back to the less privileged. We also urge for the support of corporate organization for subsequent editions to ensure we can reach every nook and cranny of Lagos and even beyond in an effort to harness the abundant of talents on the street and also give them a pathway in their careers."



The Urban Clubs Charity CUP was a success as there were plenty of live performances from musical artiste and freestyle football was also served by Nigeria quarter finalist in the National Freestyle Football Championship, Benjamin John who actually wowed the fans with some amazing display of tricks and flicks with a ball.



In the next edition we hope to see more Clubs, Lounges and Bars in their hundreds across Lagos put in for the competition to engage youths in their locations to fly their brands as Quilox became the champions of the inaugural edition with Didoz VIP Lounge were runners up.
