A Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) pastor in Ondo State, Akinsuyi,has been arrested for impregnating a 16-year-old girl.
It was also gathered that the 46-year-old pastor was said to have been involved in an affair with the victim's elder sister before he was caught.
The pastor was questioned and interrogated by Officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State, as well as journalists in Akure on Wednesday.
Pedro Awili, the NSCDC Commandant in Ondo State, said the incident was reported by the father of the victim. He said the victim confessed to her father that she was already four months pregnant after a pregnancy test was conducted.
He revealed that the girl and her family stayed in the same neighbourhood where the pastor's church is located at Abusoro in Ijoka area of Akure, adding that the suspect tookSee More

there is need to remove the bad eggs in CAC, there are a lot of atrocities committed by their pastors. they are causing more harms than good. the national body of the church should look at the salaries of the pastors, if it is not ritual as most of the case usually be, it will be pastors impregnating members.
